I love the contrasting seasons-of rapidly falling leaves and still flourishing flowering plant life.

Finished my last outdoors project for the season - Completely Rebuilt a pair of (rotted) wooden bulkhead doors.

Removing a set of “contractor’s steps” and replace them with finished (permanent) steps.

Used Primed pine for the risers. Finished pine for the treads. And a medium stain to add the rich color. Will add a coat of sealant (in a few days)

Music playing during the project was Bob Seger CDs. Including: (Going to “Kathmandu”.) My advice to Bob, just shut up and get on the plane.😆😆

Here was a nice challenge. Replace three sections of picket fence (two posts and 30 pickets) and paint the wood without damaging or destroying nearby flowers. Took a lot longer than usual. Done as gently as possible.
