After second guessing the white grout on the blue tile, and not finding anything better, I did a test on spare tile and the customer decided to go for it. I agree it looks great!! I was worried it would look busy but I was wrong. What do you guys think?

This job has exactly no tile left over!!! Two boxes of the 12x36 tiles were chipped on the edges some on both edges. I had to plan every cut but got it done. The tile store dropped the ball and did not order the replacement and the customer wanted to get going while we waited. I usually wouldn’t start a job without knowing we have plenty of tile. Grout tomorrow!!

Glass tiles……. Love hate relationship!!!

The home owner has white grout for the entire shower, I gently talked her into considering something else for the glass. I am going to mix a little white and put it in a few extra pieces so she can visualize it. These are small tiles and I think it will look very busy and the grout will become the focus instead of the tile.
I’ll do white if she likes it, but I hope we find a better color.

Tearing out a three year old shower. Another self proclaimed tile guy that does not know what pre-slope is or how to properly install membrane. I feel bad for my customer. A shower should last a lot more than 3 years.
