Horry County South Carolina Coastal South Carolina Horry County (pronounced 'ori') is located along the extreme northeast corner of South Carolina, along the Grand Strand.

Myrtle Beach is the county's largest city and Conway is the county seat. Horry County's is best known for Myrtle Beach, a large tourist destination for the state. In Conway, there is a riverwalk along the Wamucca River and the city has become revitalized in past decades. The county is served by the Myrtle Beach International Airport.
