Our company was retained to investigate a sagging floor in a specific area. Following a comprehensive inspection, we identified substantially more damage than initially expected. We maintain open communication with our clients, providing detailed explanations of the process and sharing our experience from similar past projects. The repairs required replacing 28 floor joists, approximately 18 feet of girder beam, and 15 sheets of subfloor. We recognize that such projects can be overwhelming for property owners, particularly when the property is occupied. If you are considering a bathroom renovation, please do not hesitate to contact us. We removed the original shower, which was installed when the house was built in the early 1980s. We replaced the insulation in the wall, installed a new fiberglass tub, and added a new valve kit, new baseboard, and an updated wet-rated light above the shower. Another shower transformation. Out with the old and in with the new. Penny Dyer Jenkins never lets us down on the tile work. We did all the tear out, replaced subfloor underneath shower base, installed new valve, and added blocking where needed and installed new glass shower door.

Small areas are always challenging to work in, especially when the subfloor is saturated and collapsing due to a leaking water heater. I relocated the main line to the back wall after discovering it was also leaking. The original location was right in the middle of the door way. A new water heater and subfloor are now complete. Another happy client!
