This was an interesting project. Started out as a 7" tall x 38" diameter wood cookie that was saved for 20 years, if I remember correctly. I put it on the sawmill and cut it into strips. They really wanted a table top made out of it and this is how it turned out. The top was attach to an existing table base they had.

Finished delivering this set of end tables, coffee table and desktop. The living room set all have cherry bases with granite tops. The desktop is white oak to match the cabinetry. The granite was leftover from a replacing their countertops.
