My helper (who is a customers kid) rebuilt all the railing, bench and stair cases last year. This year we did the lattice work, sanding and staining of the whole deck.

Its nice to have help.

Does anyone remember this deck from last year? Well I replaced all the decking and was planning to do the sidewalk, but temperatures ended the season so I had to wait until this year. So, new spindles, concrete sidewalk and finally stained. I think it turned out really nice. And the customer thought so as well.

This home has had me back three times now and it started with me just painting the front archway. Since then I have worked in 3 out of 7 homes in the cul-de-sac. Its nice to know they and their neighbors keep me on my toes. The bathroom was a shower demo, new waterproofing and tile. The ceiling also needed a popcorn texture blend. The kitchen I painted awhile ago with the intention of tiling when I do the bath. Thank you BLAZING STAR for all the work and laughs.

This was a fun one.
Believe it or not the home owner removed the original oak mantel just by pulling with out much effort. 4 Brad nails was holding it up.
The new mantle has a 4 x 4 backer lag screwed into studs.

So a double bathroom remodel.
Professional waterproofing system in both underneath the tile which consists of, Schluter / Kerdi board and go board/ Kerdi banding. I have to give special thanks to the "tile artisan" Martin, for helping me on this project and introducing me into the world of Schluter. He also assisted me on some of the tile work to get it completed. The master bath stand up shower consist of 5 different tiles plus the flooring. It was a fun job and I'm glad it turned out better than what I expected let alone the customer.

JJB job
This will go down as one of my favorite and most intense jobs yet. New floor tile, bath tile, knockdown ceiling, PVC base and door/window casing and no more wallpaper. The customers are vary happy with the end result.

Decking done. With the help of a big tarp, clamps and straps. Because of the snow and cold I will have to finish the concrete path next year.

Darn you Minnesota weather! You win this round!

2 layers of wallpaper... after steaming it off I had some taping and mudding to blend a seam. The folks are really nice and understood that you never know what your getting into.

It has been part of my mission from day one to eliminate wallpaper from my service area. So far its going as planned.
