After a tremendous Mother’s Day weekend, we just want to say thank you to all of our amazing customers for supporting our small business!
One of the things we love most about this industry is that no two greenhouses are exactly alike.
Every grower, garden center, farm stand, and small business has their own way of doing things, and we truly believe that’s what makes shopping local so special.
Some places are large, some are small. Some grow differently than we do, and that’s okay. We believe the best approach for any business is the one that works for them, their plants, and their customers.
Here at Through the Garden Gate, our focus has always been simple: love our plants, care for our customers, and do our best to “grow happiness” every single day.
We’re grateful for every person who chooses to shop with us, whether you shop exclusively local, mix in trips to big box stores, or simply buy plants wherever it works best for your life and budget. There’s room for everyone in gardening.
What we can promise is that our plants are cared for with a tremendous amount of hands-on attention. Every day we’re watering, pruning, checking for health, and making sure we’re growing plants we’d proudly put in our own gardens here in Maine.
More than anything, we just want people to enjoy gardening, feel successful, and love the spaces they create.
