It’s been a tough day on the farm. The ground is hard as a rock and no disc or tiller will break it, which means I’m delayed getting my dahlias in the ground. I spent 5 hours outside and got nowhere. At the same time, my anemones aren’t as strong as I had hoped they’d be, what you see here in this pic is all I could cut today.
But, I learned lots of lessons today, and that’s what failure is all about! Every time something has gone “wrong,” it’s taught me how to make it better the next time, and I know that at some point, this farm is going to be somewhere special for my community—even if there are bumps along the way.
On the flip side, today’s failure still looks really pretty. Look at those flowers! 😍
