One of the best things I did after moving to Corvallis was joining a moms group ❤️

Motherhood was never meant to be done alone, and finding community through HOME (Helping Our Moms Excel) has been such a gift for me this past year. Their summer park playdates are such an easy, low-pressure way to meet other moms and let the kids play while building real connection.

Just because your home is “brand new” doesn’t mean you’re the only one with a key 🔑🏡

I shared about this on our most recent podcast (on Youtube ) and I believe it is so important for everyone to be aware of.

I recently re-keyed a home in a new construction neighborhood that still had master pins in the locks — meaning the contractor (and potentially workers/subcontractors) could still have access if they had a construction master key.

A lot of homeowners don’t realize this is common during the building process. Re-keying after closing is one of the easiest ways to make sure YOU are the only one with access to your home.

If you recently bought a new construction home, it may be time to have your locks checked 👌

We are so thankful for Go Minis for helping us store our tools while we were constructing our mobile lock shop.

They brought the container within 24 hours of calling and they were willing to pick ut up within 24 hours of us letting them know we were done. The containers sealed well in the rain and was very secure.

This apron is my absolute favorite and it gets so many compliments everywhere I go! The embroidery looks so clean and professional, and I love getting to represent our business with something that feels so “us.”

Huge shoutout to Aliya at Hearthstone Creative for designing our logo, this is our tertiary logo and I LOVE it 😍. And shoutout to Rachel at Fable and Whimsy LLC for the amazing embroidery work!

One thing I especially appreciate about Rachel is that she’s willing to do small embroidery orders AND will print/embroider on items clients already own — which is surprisingly hard to find these days.

Most people have no idea this is even a thing… 👀

If your house key still has the manufacturer key code stamped on it, someone could potentially use that code to have a copy made without you even knowing 🫣

That tiny set of numbers on your key can matter more than you think. 🔑

Check your keys today:
✔️ If you see a code, consider replacing the key with a fresh blank.
✔️ Be careful posting keys online or setting them on them down where others can see them (if they have the code)
✔️ Don’t assume “nobody would know what it means.”

Small security habits can make a big difference.
