​Serving Orange County, CA. Cris Roberto’s journey into the world of design began at just 17, working as a receptionist for Bilotta Kitchen & Home in Mamaroneck, NY, where her passion for creativity quickly took root. Raised by a hardworking single mother, Cris embr

aced every opportunity for growth, later earning her Certificate of Design from Parsons School of Design and achieving her Kitchen Design Certification through the NKBA in 1997. Her career evolved across eight different states, where she gained a rich understanding of regional styles and established herself as a trusted designer. In 2019, Cris fulfilled her dream of launching Cris Roberto Designs in Laguna Niguel, CA, where she creates spaces that foster connection, community, and beauty. Deeply inspired by her family—husband Nick, daughters Ally and Andrea, and their two dogs—Cris continues to lead with passion, also giving back through her volunteer role as Membership Chair for the NKBA SoCal Chapter Leadership Council.

“Cris helped us design the kitchen we were dreaming of, and we had so much fun along the way. My husband and I are not the most creative or decisive when picking colors and patterns and how to layout the best kitchen. Cris made the process so much easier for us and was patient with us as we made our decisions and wanted to compare and contrast various products. She never rushed us and always gave her honest opinion and always had great advice and suggestions of what would look best. I appreciate working with her and valued her opinions and we absolutely LOVE our kitchen!”

The NKBA Southern California Design Awards winners trip was an unforgettable three-day retreat in Napa Valley, hosted by the exceptional team at SKS Appliances. This immersive experience featured hands-on training, culinary delights, and engaging interactions, all set against the picturesque backdrop of wine country. A heartfelt thank you to Jeremy Crites, Chef Nick and the entire SKS team for making this unique opportunity possible. Having lived without a kitchen for over a year, this client (and her daughters) craved a common space to relax, recharge and embrace indoor and outdoor living. We used custom cabinetry with soft, warm, neutral tones to create a soothing environment enhanced by the Mont Blanc leathered quartzite countertops and backsplash. The beautiful champagne gold faucets and cabinet hardware finishes complement the French Oak flooring, which adds to the warmth and comfort of the space. The large folding window above the sink and new patio door captures the beautiful Canyon views! State of the art Thermador Appliances are fully integrated to create a seamless, cohesive design.
