Today was officially my one year with my LLC and Wow what a year it has been!
It really is crazy to me that what started as an outlet for me beginning my sobriety journey, would turn into my dream. I simply started sharing my art with friends, facebook, and TikTok. Those friends started asked for custom items and challenging me in my abilities. Asking for recreations of photos, custom shoes, and home decor. Each time my answer was I hadn’t before but I would sure try. Each sketch amazed me every time; and then I’d shock myself even more when I painted them.
Then I was asked by one of my amazing friends to help face paint for SmileFest. I said “Sure! I’m sure YouTube/tiktok can teach me” and it sure did! I found a new joy in face painting and it only began from there.
Another very wonderful friend of mine Nichole Schlueter who owns Schlueter Creations LLC tagged me in the Ditmars Make-a-wish holiday fundraiser, where I met some more amazing women who then asked if I had ever thought about teaching a canvas class. So in February of 2025 I hosted my first Couples Canvas class.
Next I was asked to create a birthday banner. Each request since has been so unique, challenging me and teaching me something new.
Lastly, I got asked if I had ever thought about Window painting. I spent so much time researching tips and tricks, prepping, painting, and removal before I felt comfortable to touch a window; but I am so grateful Lexie Bates kept asking or I would of never found this skill!
This year has been an amazing year of learning and I am so grateful for everyone of you who has supported me and keeps challenging my talents. I’m so excited to see what this next year will bring!
Also special shoutout to this lady right here! Cheyenne is one my absolute friends and she has helped so much this year. Whether it’s volunteer face painting with me, painting windows, or building me stands for my face painting posters, she is always right there. Thank you so much for everything!
