We have Progressive but almost all insurance roadside assistance will not only cover being locked out, they will reimburse you for paying the invoice. Making this alittle bit quicker to get back on the road. Also lost,broken or misplaced keys will be covered as well. I've seen anywhere from 175$- 400$ covered which allows you to be held to a small amount difference to pay to a Zero cost. Stay Safe and enjoy your summer.

FYI for my non-locksmith friends...
The strike plate is just as important, maybe more so, than the lock on your door. All modern deadbolts sport a full one inch throw.
Sadly most strike plates are only 1/16 of an inch thick and are secured by tiny half inch screws. Many jambs and door frames are constructed from soft woods such as pine. Long 3 inch screws are a must have!
The longer screws will pe*****te the 3/4 inch to 1 inch soft wood trim and anchor firmly into the 2x4 framework around the door. This results in the absorbing of more brute force from an kick in attempt.
Without 3 inch or longer screws, the trim around the strike plate will blow out during a forced kick in of the door.
There are several beefed up strikes available.
Google Tuff Strike or Door Devil both of which I have on my own home. What's a few bucks to ramp up your weak spots on your perimeters?
At the very least stop by the local hardware store and grab a few long 3 inch deck screws and diy.

These medal doors are hollow with glass in it, so putting these in in Del Norte County knowing how the weather gets really hammers on the locks. This lock has been replaced but settling in the door is another story do to the flexibility and hits its taken. Door closers are usually a great choice but the winds will just yank them off as well. What I recommend is replacing with more of a sold style door without a window and keep them painted to protect from rust and corrosion. Location is key when setting stuff up from the start. What works in the the valley doesn't work on the cost for the most part. Cheers and Happy Easter.
