There's just something different about a homemade sandwich. Like that sourdough cheddar bagel fresh out of the oven and turkey roasted for lunch meat. You roast it yourself. You sliced it with your own meat slicer. Pair it with block cheese, sliced just right for sandwiches. Ahhhh.....That first bite, it's comfort and pride all in one.

Homemade tastes like love.

Stinging Nettles available! 🌿

I had an amazing year growing and harvesting, and I've got dried stinging nettle leaf available soon.

This prickly little "ouch plant" 🌵 is actually packed with goodness. It's rich in vitamins and minerals, like vitamin A, calcium, and iron. Plus antioxidants.

Traditionally, it's been used to support urinary health, seasonal allergies, and joint comfort. AND as a nutrient boost in food. You can steep the dried leaf for tea ☕️, add it to soups or broth 🍜, use it like a leafy herb in cooking 🌿, or grind it into powder for smoothies or seasoning blends. Basically, it goes with almost anything.

Why are we like this? 🤣 Oh, yeah, the subtle art of I have chickens, so I'm basically a wiser species. You know the vibe, right? People with chickens suddenly develop this gentle smirk like they've cracked the code to life. Like, sorry, yeah, I can't come to brunch. The hens need me. And then they casually drop things like, "Egg prices don't even stress me" and you're just standing there like, cool, cool. I'll just be inferior quietly. But, really it's affectionate. Their chickens become these little feathery overlords. And the humans are just loyal staff with wheelbarrows.
