Foundation progress at our new project ! This is our latest iteration of our shallow frost protected slab. We're using unassembled forms (18" high) for the slab edge and the new low gwp 2" XPS inside. We use stone on top of the foam to form the haunches (24"x16"). This is the attached garage which will get an additional 3' ICF walls in the next step. The guys forming it had never done this type of slab but were able to make short work of it after going over the details. After 2 days we're ready to pour!
