A little peek behind the scenes at Olive Branch Mercantile. 🌿

I feel like you usually only get to see the finished product…

Not the piles of supplies.
The half-finished projects.
The “I swear I JUST had that” moments. 😂

Or the completely unnecessary amount of craft supplies required to make one tiny thing.

But this is where the magic happens. ❤️

There’s a whole lot of cutting, engraving, sewing, assembling, experimenting and occasionally starting completely over before something finally makes it onto my booth table.

And somehow…I still love it. 😂

My husband asked me to design a necklace for him that combined two things that mean a lot to him—his love of drawing and his faith. ✏️✝️

So I created this design with the pencil and cross for the front, but I wanted the back to have a little piece of us too.

I engraved my actual handwriting on the back with two simple words that have really been the foundation of our marriage:

better together ❤️

Because through every season, every change, every crazy idea, and everything life has thrown our way—we really are better together.

I think this may be one of my favorite pieces I've made yet. 🥹
