I love this product for the finely finished interior barn doors I build. It’s a 0 VOC Greengaurd Certified finish. It’s far less harsh than hydrocarbon laden solvent based oil finishes so I’m not poisoning myself when I apply it. It’s beautiful, it’s easy to repair and it doesn’t obscure the wood. It just lets the wood be the star of the show.

The simplicity of a board and batten door with modern features:
1. Splines to interlock the vertical boards and prevent gaps while allowing the wood to expand and contract freely keeping dimensional changes to a minimum.

3. Carbonized oak finish. All parts are fully sealed and finely finished prior to assembly making for a flatter, more stable door.

My mentality is to go all out on everything. Even when I’m building shop fixtures or cabinets, I use it as an opportunity to practice my craft, try new things or test my limits. For example, a few years ago, I built a pair of saw horses with several types of tenons (drawbored through, drawbored blind and floating). Although I used trash framing lumber, it had been taking up space for several years and was well acclimated to my shop so the joinery is still tight. These saw horses would have no issues holding up a Chevy big block.
