David Wolstenholm started DW's Handyman & Home Improvement in Hampton, VA in 2007. The business continued successfully through the depression and closed down in December 2010 when David and his wife, Lola, moved to Michigan. Now located in Frisco, TX, David has re-established the business in the Metroplex. DW's Handyman specializes in carpentry work including custom trim, framing, custom closets,

exterior trim, replacing rotten wood, and much more. We do bathroom and kitchen remodels, tile work, hardwood flooring, pressure washing, and of course handyman work.

There are pros and cons of being super busy in construction. Pro is obviously money and knowing you have work to do for the foreseeable future. But there are 2 downsides. 1. It makes it harder to set aside time to work on your business. 2. Little things can get missed or forgotten so you will have to go back and fix them. Costing time and money.

Anyways, we are back to normal and I have more time to focus on sales and running the business.

We have a 3 step process in design; schematic layout, Selections, and Development. The agreement itself is fairly short and not too detailed. But the process of design is pretty exciting! (For most people, 😆)

This is when all the groundwork is laid and finalized. Our thorough pre-construction process allows construction to be much smoother and faster!

During design we get to create the space you want, go to all the fun stores and pick out the perfect products for your home, and get you mentally excited and prepared for the actual work to begin.
