It was recommended that I share our story here. Some of you may know me as the “Bee Trap Lady” , aka Made by Michelle.
My husband and I are both veterans, and the last few years have brought more challenges than we ever imagined. We’ve experienced job loss, heartbreaking family losses, unexpected home emergencies, and ongoing health struggles.
In 2021, I became disabled and started building bee traps to help support our family. Thanks to so many wonderful customers, what started as a way to survive became something I truly love.
Unfortunately, life has continued to test us. My husband’s health has steadily declined. He has been hospitalized twice for heart failure over the past two years, and now he is also fighting cancer. He hasn’t been able to work since April, and we’re doing everything we can to keep moving forward.
Asking for help isn’t easy, but we’ve reached a point where we truly need it. If you’re able, we would be incredibly grateful if you could share our story and our GoFundMe. Even if you’re not in a position to donate, simply sharing our fundraiser can help it reach someone who is.
Your kindness, prayers, encouragement, and support mean more to our family than words can express.
To all of our amazing customers, thank you for standing by us. We are determined to get through this and hope to be back up and running strong by next spring.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read our story and for helping us spread the word. ❤️
