I was raised by a man who was a farmer in PA, my dad, and he taught me all I know and he told me to always seek knowledge on anything I wanted to do. I wanted to have a small but cheap way to help reduce my footprint on this earth, be beneficial to others, i.e. the earth and your gardens. I ran across this vermicomposting and after weeks if videos, company researches for the right worm and price, I decided I could do this with little or no money invested. Just my time and my trash.

I am disabled with osteoarthritis in most of my joints and a collection of other medical conditions that keep most employers from putting me on the payroll or if they did, it would be a short lived job due to my conditions keeping me from doing well so I would bounce from job to job as well as raise two children on my own. I no complaining just stating the facts of what mat me want keep trying to have my own business. The last business I had was burned down before the 2008 crash when I lost everything. I am still struggling with getting back on my feet. But I have a roof over my head, food, and medical care so I am blessed more than others may be.

I live on a tight budget on my Social Security, and have to make financial plans months in advance to get anything extra for the business such as shipping bags, live bait containers, labeling products, postage and boxes for out of town shipments. I am learning as I go and it has not been easy but by the grace of the higher powers, I will earn enough to subside my current income maybe with some profits in the future.
