Recovering from psychological or emotional abuse is so scary because you start realize how much that person was able to warp your own reality… and you let them. Either out of human instinct, naivety, or ignorance. At some point as an adult with your own conscious, you kept giving them the reigns to control you over using your own discernment. Self forgiveness is so hard but I can’t wait until I get there.

Recovering from psychological or emotional abuse is so scary because you start realize how much that person was able to warp your own reality… and you let them.
