Lucky Sheds & Cabins has been setting the standard for high quality - low cost in the DFW market for years. From the smallest of our sturdy economical backyard sheds all the way up to our largest deluxe lofted cabins and everything in between. If you didn't buy from us.... you probably paid too much.
- A good foundation is key for a long lasting building. Blocking pads, pressure treated runners, sturdy plywood and a solid sub-floor keep our buildings standing tall for generations. No ground prep work on your part is required. We take care of it all.
- All of our buildings have plywood flooring. NO OSB OR PARTICLE BOARD FLOORS. (19/32" ply on our economy models and 23/32" ply on the rest).
- We live in Texas... so we wouldn't think of charging you extra for vents. 2 gable vents are included with all of our buildings (up to 22' long) and ridge vents come standard with all buildings longer then 22'. Why don't we give you ridge vents on the smaller ones!?!? Simple... cross flow is more effective on shorter runs. In order for a ridge vent to be effective it requires a 20' run. Think of it this way. Would you rather have one medium size window on one wall of a room or two smaller windows on opposite ends. The answer of course is two smaller one opposite ends (thus creating your cross flow). A ridge vent can accomplish an air flow as well when used in uninterrupted lengths of 20' or more.
- 2"x4" construction, top and bottom plates, galvanized drip edge, heavy duty gate hinges, 25 year shingles, double studs on the door, LP Smartside siding (50 year MFG warranty), exterior grade electro galvanized ring shank nails on all framing and trim applications (inside and out) and cross load designed braces on the rafters are just some of the things that keep our buildings sturdy and strong for many years to come.
- Different cities have different codes. Roughly 70% of local cities do not require a permit for structures that are 120 square feet (10x12) or less.
