A little behind the scenes from our furniture shopping this week!

We’ve been working on furniture selections for the Bridgeport Project (Kelly’s home!), and after lots of online research, we headed to Hickory Chair and CR Laine with our lists in hand.

We were on a mission to narrow down dining chairs, counter stools, and sofas/chairs for the living room. And of course, we had to do sit-tests on everything before making any decisions. A sofa can look beautiful online, but you’ve got to know how it feels!

Then came the fun part…pulling fabrics, mixing patterns, and seeing what works together.

Still a few decisions to make, but we’re getting closer!

And yes, we came home with plenty of fabric samples. 😂

We spent some time last week adding a few more finishing touches to this space, and it’s really starting to come together. The new limestone fireplace and picture TV have made such a difference, along with a little shelf styling, layered lighting, cocktail books, and a few fun finds.

We’re still waiting for the new bar refrigerator to arrive, but we couldn’t wait to share a little update with y’all.

It’s fun watching a room come together a little at a time, especially when we’re mixing old and new along the way!

The Blue Heron bathroom is finished, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

Our clients have been updating their home one room at a time, and this Jack and Jill guest bathroom was next on the list.

We completely gutted the space and started fresh! A raised tub platform with an arched entry, marble tile and flooring, wallpaper, picture frame wainscoting, new vanities, countertops, sconces, mirrors, and hardware. We also added a pocket door to help with the flow of the space.

Our client loves classic, timeless design but isn’t afraid to have a little fun with the details. And since they’re from Louisiana, we couldn’t resist adding a few alligator hooks! 🐊

It’s those little unexpected touches that make a home feel personal.

A little Friday catch-up with the two of us!

We spent today at the home of one of our longtime clients, working on a few updates and adding some finishing touches.

We took a few pictures along the way so we could show y’all what we’ve been up to, including decorating her bar shelves by adding small antiques, fun pictures, modern little touch lights and regional cocktail books.

And after a full day, sometimes a Popeyes chicken sandwich is just what you need! 😂

A little before and after from our Graham Project!

This one was a complete gut renovation of a 1970s home our client grew up in. We updated the kitchen, living room, and pantry, giving her a home that feels like her own while keeping the history that makes it special.

We love getting to work on projects like this. There’s something pretty special about taking a home you’ve known for years and making it work for the way you live today.

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately, but there’s been a lot happening behind the scenes at Multitudes Home.

We’ve been walking job sites, making selections, working through all the little details that come with renovations and new construction, and watching some really special spaces start to come together.

A few things we’ve been up to…

Bridgewater is moving right along. We selected the materials for this home and are now working on some of the finishing details and furnishings.

The Blue Heron bathroom renovation is getting so close to the finish line. We’ve loved seeing this one go from our original renderings and selections to the real thing.

At Sugar Ridge, wallpaper has been going up (and we will never get tired of seeing what wallpaper can do for a room).

And that Graham kitchen transformation at the end deserves a post all its own. We’ll share more of that one soon.

Lots happening, lots more to share, and we’re excited to start bringing you along again.
