Spoiler: it’s not. This is ✨real✨ thin brick and I used construction adhesive and grids to align it all….and it fooled half the internet. 🤪

👶🏻 the nursery era has officially ended around here…and the crib didn’t get the memo…or I didn’t 😜

🩵🩵🩵 our boys love sleeping together, so for now, I’m going to turn this into a cozy, inviting guest room.

Guest room glow-up starts now…if I can survive disassembly.

🙋🏻‍♀️ People legit argue in the comments over this one. It’s not just painter’s tape—it’s tape + caulk + paint, and here’s why it works so well:

🔬 The science behind it:

✔️Painter’s tape alone leaves tiny gaps (especially on textured or uneven walls). These gaps let paint bleed through, ruining your clean line.
✔️A thin bead of caulk seals the edge of the tape, filling in microscopic gaps and creating a paint-proof barrier.
✔️Painting immediately over the wet caulk allows the paint to bond seamlessly while keeping the caulk flexible. When you pull the tape (and caulk) off, it leaves a razor-sharp line.

Debunked myths:
❌ You don’t need to let the caulk dry—wet caulk creates the best seal.
❌ It’s not messy if applied correctly—just smooth it with your finger.
❌ It works even on textured surfaces where tape alone fails.

This method has transformed my painting projects—and it’s so simple! It’s not going anywhere for me!
