Outdoor pillows can be beautiful and still endure the elements. Look for fabrics that resist fading and mildew. And choose high-quality outdoor inserts. Adding decorative accents, like pillows, brings life to what might otherwise be very nuetral spaces!

Mom’s Suite at the Beach House is cozy, comfy and so coastal! With a classic palette of navy and white, the velvet coverlet and cashmere throw and custom Euro shams and coordinating bolster make a bed that’s both beautiful and utterly luxurious. A vacation at the beach has to include a bedroom that ensures a great night of sleep.

Last week at our Watercolor Beach House project we added finishing touches to the primary bedroom that included pops of green to tie in with the beautiful wallpaper in the primary bath. They included adding green linen drapery panels to the doors that coordinated with the green tape trim on the white panels, along with comfy ottomans for putting up your feet after long walks on the beach. We made a custom, oversized bolster pillow using the room’s color palette, too. Finally, we hung wall decor including the beautiful Kim Hovell oyster print and driftwood palm leaves.

This week the head chairs arrived for our Watercolor Beach House project and I just love how simple and beautiful the dining space is! Sometimes less really is more!

The “Surf’s Up” bedroom got a blue plaid box pleat valance today with matching bolster pillows. The Euro shams and bed skirts are custom, as well. This room feels like the perfect place for cousins to have a long-awaited sleepover and enjoy vacation together!

We’re back in Watercolor for Round 2! Exciting things happening this week in the beach house: painting spaces, new furniture coming, added more drapes and custom soft goods, like this fun bolster pillow that looks so much like the puffer fish! We’ve got more art to hang, and finishing touches that add a lot of character! Stay close for more pics throughout the week!

When shower tile goes high, we go to the ceiling! A custom shower curtain not only gives you that model home look so many clients are after but also allows you to ceiling mount without having it sit three feet off the floor. Most shower curtains available through retail stores are just too short to accommodate high ceilings. Loving how this install turned out!
