Hi, My name is Melissa. I started this as a hobby after I had one of my surgeries for IC. There are times where I have a lot of pain, and wood burning helps give me something to concentrate on other than hurting. I can rest, yet be productive, and take my mind off of hurting all at the same time. My first few wood burnings were a learning process for sure, then I started getting the hang of it. At first I just started slowly playing around creating a couple of magnets and signs. I gave a few away as gifts and had some comments that I should sell my items Thus, Melissa’s Divine Designs was created. I mostly burn scriptures, because my faith is what helps get me through my hardest times, why not share that with the world? I can and will burn other sayings at request though!
