For those that didn’t see on our Business page, an update to Luca’s Journey with the original diagnosis of DMD, God is continuing to do great things in Luca!! Follow along to watch God continue to work a miracle!!🥰🙏❤️ Mawmaw & Pawpaw love you so much Luca!!!!🥰🥰❤️❤️

Luca went to the cardiologist today, our first visit after diagnosis. Lengthy Echocardiogram.

With muscular dystrophy, it's important to keep a check on the heart (cardio) & Lungs (pulmonary; starts next year).

Dr. Videlefsky said Luca had a perfect heart w/ a perfect EKG 💜

Thank you god 🙏🏼

We go see Dr. Flanigan in Ohio April 4th!

- Luca is doing great! Thoughts, prayers and weekend dosing of steroids have done him well 💜
Still blows my mind that that we were told in October that he had no muscle damage & minimal inflammation. Even though he has the coding for Duchenne, doctors are now thinking it could be Becker- Duchenne intermediate... or just Becker.
Won't know for sure until his muscle biopsy at 5 years old.

Luca's birthday is March 8th! We love our boy so so so so much, and just enjoy everyday we have. Sometimes I wish we only went to the doctor for just colds, it can be hard on your heart, triggering at any appointment BUT, so grateful for good news.

Zach Galifianakis Paid Old Homeless Woman's Rent for Decades & Spent Time with Her as She Lost Her Family
When Zach Galifianakis met Marie "Mimi" Haist, she was volunteering in a laundromat, surviving off tips left by customers. She was only allowed to sleep between the washers and dryers so customers couldn't see her.
Haist revealed that she became homeless after her divorce and had been on the streets for decades. Even though Galifianakis was an unknown comedian at the time, he found a comfortable apartment for her and paid her rent.
Galifianakis became a Hollywood star after filming alongside Bradley Cooper in the "Hangover" movie trilogy. However, his fame didn't affect his heart, and he remained down-to-earth.
He maintained a strong bond with Haist and even walked a red carpet with her as his date.
"If he's in town, he takes me ... I dress up nice, and a friend helps me with my makeup. It's fun, not something I've ever dreamed I'd experience. The limo takes me home afterward," revealed Haist.
Their friendship lasted nearly 27 years until she died at 96 years old.
