my apologies for the lack of updates.. its now been near 4 months since Johns accident. as many of u know we spent 13 days in icu before john went on home to heaven... i wanted to share with u a tribute that the garage door industry did for John at a convention in vegas in April.. i know John was smiling down from up in heaven. I also just wanted to thank everyone for their continued support and prayers. Cabots Garage Door Service is still up n going.. i have another husband n wife team that run their business with the same values that John n I did runnin the show.. I just wasnt able to do it all like John did. i sure do miss u all. its not the same around here.. really kinda quiet.. mayb someday ill b able to just ride around with another tech for the day.. id sure enjoy that.. so many of u have become like family.. god bless..

just letting everyone know even though john is still in the hospital we r still up, operational and running service calls. if anyone needs anything please dont hesitate to call. thanks yall for all ur support it is so appreciated.

im not one for asking but i have had many people ask what they could do to help. the BIGGEST thing that we need is PRAYERS!!! but if u are able to help i will never b able to say thank u enough. i love u all. ur support through all this has been my source of strength.

i just want to update everyone. john took a very serious turn overnight. he spiked a high fever had to b packed in ice n then he began to struggle to breathe. in tryin to keep his airway safe they did have to put a breathing tube in. now he is sedated completely. there r some concerns with his liver n kidney. they have done ultrasounds n many tests n r tryin to determine the issue. i appoligize for not gettin back to every single message or post. please dont feel that i dont appreciate all of it. im just trying to keep up n focus on whats next with john. i love u all and please just continue to pray for us.

ive had soo many prayer warriors with me and im struggling keeping up so im just doin a general copy n paste of a update so everyone knows whats goin on with john. i really couldnt do this without everyone of u guys.. i luv u all.

john is a c6 quadrapalegic (spelling sorry) right now r fight is keepin him from goin into shock. if he goes into shock it can cause his paralysis to rise further in his chest n then compromise his lungs and the ability to swallow. at that point he may have to have a breathing tube put in.. pray that doesnt happen. he had a swallow test today. he has no cough reflux or abilty to cough so for now they worry about aspiration pnemonia which means he is allowed nothing by mouth. if he keeps the shock at bay later this wk mayb he can get the surgery to stabilize his neck. at that point he may b here a few more weeks before placement in a rehab facilty where he will b until i can get him home. but i have to set up home health care and all of that as there is no way in reality that i can move him on my own. but he will b comin home n ill take care of him. ive been here all night n day n still here. ive gone home to just let the dogs potty. and i have his phone so im running the business as best as i can. i was able to get help to run calls for me so that was a major help. but for now we r takin baby steps. i cant much handle day to day to im workin on hr by hr.. but by gods grace we will get through this.

to all our loyal customers we need prayers for John. he was in a very serious auto accident tonight. as of right now he is paralized from the chest down. we do know his neck is fractured. i believe in the power in prayer and we need alot of that right now.

This hole was a fun dig, it is 13 inches in diameter and will be 5 ft deep when done. The post will be a 6" x 6" 3/8 inch thick.

the look of wood doors but none of the weight and maintenance...put these three in and they look awesome with the hardware. these r steelback insulated but u can also do a regular open pan as well.

started the install of 4 12×12s.. out in paradise texas... now we r ready for the genie lift to b brought in, horizontal tracks to b set, last panel put in and springs installed..

more progress on the feed store doors... back west door done. and the 3 12×14s r started.. gotta make sum adjustments to the back hangs to adjust for sprinkler pipes so short day today but we got as far as we could..

wkend #3 at the feed store.. after a very exhausting week we ended today will all doors up n running on the north wall and the 2nd drive thru door on the south wall.. all we got left is the 14×14 on the west wall and then the 3 12×12s that we will get delivered and put in this week. almost there..

finally.. back on the feed store doors.. one completely done and rollin up.. had to mount custom spring plates before mounting the monster springs..
