Job Description:
LPT Inc. is actively seeking a Landscape Construction and Enhancement Foreman to lead and oversee a crew of 4-6 members in maintaining and enhancing multiple commercial properties. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as landscape equipment. The Foreman will ensure the timely, safe, and efficient completion of tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of a team of 4-6 crew members.
Manage the installation and maintenance of landscape features including sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, and irrigation systems.
Operate and oversee the use of tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, edgers, and other landscaping machinery.
Ensure job sites are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Perform inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans.
Follow company policies and safety regulations, ensuring that all crew members are compliant.
Assist in the planning and ex*****on of enhancement projects to improve the aesthetic and functional aspects of commercial landscapes.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Landscape Foreman or Crew Leader, managing a team in a similar environment.
Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance and enhancement practices, including sod laying, planting, irrigation systems, and lawn care.
Ability to operate landscape equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Valid Driver’s License is required.
Experience with commercial properties and landscaping is highly preferred.
Must be detail-oriented, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and crews simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
