RED HOT CINNAMON HARD CANDY 🔥🍬
Spicy and sweet homemade candy with a fiery cinnamon kick!
Ingredients
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
1 tsp cinnamon oil
1/2 tsp red food coloring
Powdered sugar for dusting
Directions
1. Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until dissolved.
2. Increase heat and bring to a boil without stirring until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
3. Remove from heat, then quickly stir in cinnamon oil and red food coloring.
4. Pour onto a greased baking sheet and let cool slightly.
5. Once slightly firm, score into small squares or break into pieces when fully cooled.
6. Dust with powdered sugar to prevent sticking.
