Operations Lead/Crew member

Brief description
The position of operations lead consists of directing, coordinating, or managing, usually through subordinate personnel, activities concerned with the completion and satisfactory installation of floor coatings, polishing, or sealing projects, weatherproofing or waterproofing and overseeing their organization and implementation.
Tasks
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and installation problems;
• Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with plans and specs;
• Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the installations or applications required;
• Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at the installation site.
Qualifications and requirements
• Experience in floor coating, and sealing using multiple products;
• Experience with polishing floors to include the equipment utilized to complete the job;
• Knowledge or experience in construction waterproofing to include industrial coatings;
• Ability to manage one’s own time and the time of others, to give full attention to the situation at hand, and use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions;
• Ability to motivate, develop and direct people as they work and identify best people for the job.
