By raising the ceiling height, we instantly gave this space a greater sense of volume and openness. Paired with a more intentional, symmetrical layout and refined architectural detailing, the room now feels balanced and grounded.

Custom soffit details with integrated accent lighting add depth and dimension, subtly highlighting the architecture while creating a warm, layered glow. The all-white kitchen had its moment… but we’re seeing a major shift toward warmth, depth, and character in the heart of the home.

For our upcoming Bolla Project in Alamo, we leaned into rich, moody tones with Benjamin Moore’s Salamander cabinetry paired with warm walnut accents, natural stone, textured ivory tile, and layered lighting to create a kitchen that feels both elevated and inviting.

This concept rendering reflects where kitchen design is headed in 2026: away from stark greys and cold minimalism, and toward spaces that feel grounded, sophisticated, and lived in. Warm neutrals, organic textures, and darker paint colors are redefining luxury kitchens in a way that feels timeless rather than trendy.

We can’t wait to bring this vision to life.

Sometimes the biggest transformations come from changing the architecture of a space — not just the finishes. ✨

For this kitchen remodel, we focused on three major changes:

• Raising the ceiling to make the room feel larger and more open

• Bringing in more natural light to brighten the entire space

• Removing walls to expand the kitchen footprint and improve flow

The result is a kitchen that feels dramatically more spacious, functional, and connected to the rest of the home. Thoughtful design decisions like these completely change how a space looks, feels, and lives day to day.
