Dents and worn surfaces.

This is something that we thrive on! We fix anything! But sometimes we don't. This is story of not fixing.

Recently, I had the very great pleasure of painting at a house of a sweet couple. They happen to be the grandparents of a good friend of mine.

I can't say enough good things about these people. They fed me every time I was there! Ga Ga, "grandma" baked cookies, cinnamon rolls, and they bought burger King for me. They both stood and talked about life and told me their stories. Just a fun time!

The coolest part of the whole experience was that Ga Ga didn't want me to repair the dents on her wall caused by her grandsons when they were little guys. They pushed there match box cars from the kitchen, off the stairwell hitting the wall. She wanted to persevere memories from life. Ga Ga also showed me spots in her house with memories from life including the door, (her grandchildren sizes throughout the years).

I loved this! So much love for family and life. Such a beautiful family! Thanks Bailey Schmidt for the recommendation!
