Split out Cleveland select pear tree we had to remove, Cleveland select pears are much less likely to split in wind storms then the known splitting Bradford pear tree's/thats why they stopped selling Bradford pears at all nurseries as of 2023, this split out pear is from not properly trimming/ thinning out and deadwooding over years of growing, if you have a Cleveland Select or Bradford pear trees trimmed they are 75% less likely to split out in a wind storms of they are properly thinned out and deadwooded, mostly thinned, so the wind can get through the tree, this goes with any tree that is over 15' that gets to thick, if you need a proper evaluation of any tree work, call Owner/Chris at (937)3977948..
