This homeowner had an issue with her bigger dogs tearing up the grass and tracking dirt into the house. They still have a big back yard where they can play, but we were able to make a clean area for them using artificial turf. Artificial turf when installed correctly can be a perfect option.

This homeowner had standing water on the pool deck during even light rains, and water flooding the area during heavy rains. This was caused by the 2” strip drain being clogged with debris over the years. We replaced the 2” strip drain with a 3”, solving this drainage backup. The 3” has a removable grate, for easy cleaning in the future.

These neighbors were dealing with a constantly soggy side yard. For days after a rain the grass in between the houses was mushy with standing water in places. This is caused by the runoff from both roofs, each had 3 gutter downspouts flowing into this small area. By routing the runoff from the downspouts towards the lake out back, we were able to eliminate 80% of the water that floods into this area, allowing for faster dry times, healthier grass, and no more mud.

This home owner is a lovely older lady who hosts card night at her house occasionally. Her and the girls “might” have a drink or two, and the existing walkway was uneven with a severe slope, difficult to walk. By building a retaining wall, we were able to keep the same level from driveway to front door. The railing is a functional yet aesthetic touch due to the drop off. Have fun ladies!

This home owner was having rain water flood into the Florida room during heavy rains, due to the irregular grading of the back yard and not having gutters. I advised the home owner to have gutters installed and she did. From there we were able to route the water from the downspout into a drainage pipe, and out to the street. With a small landscape wall and patio, we have effectively trapped and routed any excess water into the drainage pipes, and out to the street. This home is higher than street level, so the gravity drain is performing perfectly.
