As I sit in my office this morning, with coffee, I reflect on the past year and a half in this journey with 2H Remodel. When I made the decision early in 2024 to "take this show on the road" and form 2H Remodel, I had no idea what to expect. Would it work? Would it be successful? Would 2H have clients? Well, fast forward to today, Thanksgiving, and I can't express enough gratitude for the growth and success that 2H Remodel has had.
First and foremost, I give Thanks to God for giving me the grit and grace to make this happen. Without Him, none of this was ever possible. I give Thanks to Tara, my "sidekick", for being here to help through it all. While it has been crazy, she has done a tremendous job navigating this crazy industry, managing jobsites, learning product, and building relationships with our vendors, contractors, and clients. I give Thanks to all of our vendors for being the best partners in this industry. I give Thanks to our contractors that we are truly blessed to work with on every job. I don't say it enough. I have the "dream team" that has been loyal and working with me for years. They don't just show up and do a job. They work together with each other, our clients, and 2H Remodel, and they make it fun! Between our vendors and our contractors, they are more than just that. They are our friends that we have gained along the way. And I am grateful for them. I give Thanks to my family and friends that have supported me through this journey, especially my husband. Being a small business owner has proven that this is not for the weak. Behind the scenes, it's countless hours on the phone, in the office working late nights and overnight to catch up on paperwork, it's usually 7 days a week, it's not turning off the phone when on vacation, it's juggling 5 jobsites at one time, worry about whether you will have the clients to keep this going, making mistakes and creating solutions, and the list goes on. At the end of every exhausting day though, it's worth it. And finally, I give Thanks to each and every client that we have had along the way. They are not just clients to us. They become our friends. We know their families, their animals, their stories. We try hard to treat their homes as if they are ours. 2H Remodel has been overwhelmed by the number of clients and support this year. Never could I have imagined the number of clients, friends, that we would gain. Thank you to each and every one of you for trusting us with your families and your homes!
While we could not get to every client that requested our services, we are grateful for the opportunities. As we move towards the new year, I am excited for the continued growth and opportunities that are waiting.
