Happy Black Friday everyone!

I often run into a situation where someone is having issues with the stitches on their machine, more often on older machines and ones that the customer is unfamiliar with. When I go about diagnosing the issue, I sometimes find that the wrong bobbin is being used in the machine. Many customers did not realize that bobbins come in many styles for a number of different machines. For instance, a style 66 bobbin was designed originally for the Singer 66 series of machines but was widely used in many machines after it's initial introduction; however, it WILL NOT work in any machine. The same goes for the style 15 or any other style bobbin created. The differences can be subtle, but there are differences for a reason. So, when you get that machine you mother used and it isn't sewing right, make sure you have the correct bobbin installed in the machine. It will save you a ton of headaches.
