Meet Phillip Billman!

Phillip and his wife, Gail, are empty nesters and proud grandparents to twin boys. Their son, Kyle, is a firefighter in Wichita, and their daughter, Maggie, recently moved to Tallahassee, Florida, for graduate school.

For Phillip, working and loving what he does is a hobby in itself. One of the things he enjoys most about his job is seeing a completed project and knowing it was the result of a strong team effort.

A fun fact most people may not know about Phillip—he served in President Bush JR's presidential motorcade!

When it comes to his favorite 4 State Fence project, Phillip says, “The ones that are finished!” 😂All joking aside, he believes every job brings a different perspective and a new level of experience. Each project has its own challenges and something new to learn from.

We’re proud to have Phillip as part of the 4 State Fence team and appreciate the experience, dedication, and team mentality he brings to the job every day—not to mention the comedy he provides along the way. There’s never a dull moment when Phillip’s around!

This week we’re putting the spotlight on Sharon, one of the familiar faces working behind the scenes at 4 State Fence!

Outside of work, Sharon loves being a mom to her two sons, Ryan, who lives in Texas, and Luke, who lives in Oklahoma — along with Ellie the cat. She enjoys any chance she gets to spend time with her kids, friends, and extended family. She also enjoys walking and hiking and taking pictures of the beautiful scenery she finds along the way.

Something you may not know about Sharon is that she was a member of the 1992 Missouri Southern D-II National Championship softball team! 🥎 That’s a pretty cool accomplishment to have!

Being in the office, Sharon says she doesn’t have one particular project she would call her favorite. Instead, one of the things she has enjoyed most is watching just how much 4 State Fence has grown over the last five years. She’s proud to play a part in that growth through all of the behind-the-scenes work it takes to keep things running. And even after seeing the projects from the office side, she says it’s still pretty cool to drive by a finished job and see a 4SF fence out in the wild!
