When refinishing cabinets it is of utmost importantance to use high quality materials. Especially in a high traffic area like a kitchen!
Centurion vinyl sealer is an outstanding primer coating that meets all the requirements a refinisher needs to start off on the right foot:
✅ Excellent stain blocking (this is important as many woods contain tannins and oils that will leach through your finishes)
✅Excellet build (this is a high solids coating that allows you to create a good base)
✅Fast dry time (can dry in as quick as 15min, usually around 45 min and you're ready for sanding and the next coat!)
✅Superior sandability (this stuff powders right up! Many primers and coatings are a pain to sand. This stuff sands like a dream! Huge plus when striving for that factory finish)
Milesi 2K poly is a tried and true high quality industrial grade topcoat:
✅ Can be sprayed as a 1K or 2K (2K means 2 component, meaningyou can add a catalyst. The catalyst increases durability and chemical resistance. 1K means you can spray it right out of the can, still leaving a durable and impressive finish.)
✅Excellent build
✅Durable (very impressive for a water based finish. Compared to a more main stream water based paint like Advance from Benjamin Moore it is in another league. Although common I would not recommend Advance for cabinets!)
✅KCMA approved (Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers of America)
