Gearing up for Midwest Haunters Convention has me feeling inspired! 🎃🤩

Here's a peek at a little exercise I have been working on the past couple weeks. I created a quick layout utilizing custom made SketchUp components with multiple visibilities allowing to toggle through multiple views from sketch, to plan, to a full 3D model. This makes updates and on the fly changes quick, painless, and easy!

After a final plan is set, dimensions, material lists, and drawings can be produced for budgeting, building, and city review. Incredibly handy during your initial phases of planning your haunted attraction!

Another throwback to some design work we did for Hundred Acres Manor Haunted House near Pittsburgh, PA. This job was unique in that there were three existing "Hellevator" motion simulator platforms aligned in a row that exited into a hallway with a steep ramp down to an exit door in the bottom right of the picture.

Haunt Plans helped demo the existing scene, document the existing structures, and come up with a plan to reroute the flow of traffic to be able to include an ADA compliant ramp which previously was not possible.

Having a full recreation of the existing conditions helped weigh the customers options in seeing what was possible with the space while also allowing a full visual representation for the scene crew to follow the build crew to complete the scene.

From concept sketch, deciding on construction materials, finalizing finishes, to final build, Haunt Plans helps every step of the way!

Here's a throw back to some work we did for Dark Hour Haunted House in collaboration with K Studios.

These arches were constructed in the main queue area to serve as separate entrances for their VIP and general admission queue lines. Haunt Plans created a general concept that was approved by the customer then we worked with K Studios to finalize actual construction methods and finishing.

Some late-night tinkering, further expanding our knowledge and offerings! Haunt Plans helps not only with the design, purchasing, and construction of a haunt, but can also help give you and idea of lighting, sound, prop placement, and so, so, much more!

Here's an example of a project we created a few years back brought to life in a new program we're learning. Not only do you get to see your haunt in full 3D, you get to see everything with the lights off, too!
