We're celebrating our second year in business and we can't be more thankful to God for the big and little things!! We're excited to announce that we are growing and now have a Design Assistant on our team! Which means capacity to make more change and impact one project at a time 🙌🏽❤️!!

Updates since last year:

1. We helped complete the "Analysis+Advocacy+Action - A Path to Overcoming Barriers to Equitable Real Estate" research/report with and

2.We designed the podcast/lounge area for the office at Newlab Detroit

3. Decorated and ate good while doing it!

4. Helped design a residential beverage bar at a lovely home in Grandmont Rosedale

5. Decorated an Airbnb in Highland Park

6. Completed schematic designs for an art gallery and studio in the North End

7. Compiled maps and data for the Detroit Cultivator Community Land Trust on Oakland Ave.

8. Curated tablescapes for

9. The community engagement phase for a neighborhood childrens museum is complete and the design is almost done!

10. The FF&E selection for the new construction 8000sf+ residence in Novi is still underway and will be complete by December!

11. The decorating for an office space on Woodward in Midtown is underway!

12. And there are a number of other consulting gigs happening behind the scenes!

As much planning as it takes to host small events, I still love it!!!

I'm working on creating a list of lifestyle services to offer under Crane + Boom to help people throw amazing, intimate parties for 2-20 people. Is it just me thinking this, or are house lunch/dinner parties becoming extinct amongst the millennial generation? What services are most needed to support the host/hostess who wants to have the mostest?! :)

Our 1st concept for the teen lounge. room! Now we wait to hear additional feedback and revisions from the youth group! Working with this particular group of teens has always been fun and energizing! Their level of project involvement is outstanding.
