Garage update: Not finished yet, but making progress week to week. This garage will make the house look way less like a tall box on a hill. And all the concrete and rock tore out from old basement from lifting the house? Joe’s turning it into driveway backfill instead of paying for loads of dirt and gravel. Saving money and cleaning up the yard at the same time — win, win!

Which look would you pick?
1️⃣ All‑white narrow board & batten — clean, classic, tall lines
2️⃣ Wider board & batten with white + black contrast — bold, modern, a little dramatic

*we are going cedar color accents with either choice.

Meet my new 18” porch planters - the perfect height, shade of black, and I can hide bricks in the bottom so they don’t’ blow away! 🫣 They’re officially newest addition to my covered porch and finish it perfectly…well for an unfinished porch.

Clean doors don’t stand a chance around here… but those little muddy paw prints are cute, and so is she, so I couldn’t even be mad.
