I usually shy away from any project that calls for staining, but these two high end nightstands were included with a bed I was buying. The tops were heavily damaged and needed a strip and re-stain. I’m so glad I tried it. It really wasn’t as hard as I thought.

Did you know that foam cushions only last 7-10 years before they need replacing?
I love this chocolate brown velvet couch. But the cushions needed to be replaced and they were not detachable and were connected to the couch frame. So I deconstructed half the couch and replaced the cushions, rebuilt the three seat cushions and covered the frame under the cushions. So now if I need to wash the cushion covers or replace the cushions it will be just a matter of unzipping the covers.

Here is my latest redo. Such a beautiful transformation. Looking for a new home!
