Finished!!! With all the issues this floor had, we pulled out all the stops to make this into a showroom quality floor. After filing in some missing spots, resecuring existing wood, striping it down to bare wood, and then slowly leveling and sanding all the problem areas. We screened the floor once sanded to a smooth 220 grit, and then screened it again after the first coat. Applying 2 heavy coats of high traffic polyurethane. The customer was happy as are we to provide something that turned this very rough floor into something they can be proud of!

Some before and afters of some railings we built. As winter approaches we are doing more interior work as of late but this was a nice little day project for a good customer of ours. Their tenant wanted railings so we installed some cedar posts and railings and used cedar deckboards for a cap. This is a great way to spruce up your porch or stairs and can be pretty inexpensive!

Some before and afters of some sill replacement on a home we did last week. The front of the house was rotting and the foundation is built with whatever they had laying around back in the day. Without disturbing the existing foundation they have, jacking the house up slightly and puzzle piecing pressure treated boards to provide support then sistering up a couple longer boards to give it extra support. We then lag bolt the new outter sill into the secured inner baseplate/sill boards. Working on older homes can be challenging but rewarding. No more sagging or rot here!

Sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference! Before and after of a side porch we refinished, painted, and rebuild a little using reclaimed oak for a new banister and some new deck boards. Using Sherwin Williams deck paint with added grit!

Today's project we had a customer with cork flooring and a leaking toilet. The existing flooring had become damp and ruined from exposure to the leak. Wanting a tiled portion in replacement, using reclaimed, extra, and scrap pieces of tile. We fixed the leaking toilet, installed hardiebacker, and made our artistic collage of tilework! Grout goes on tomorrow!

We got buildings 1/5 and 2/5 DONE. We have added struts on 2 different points across this roofs span along with new collar ties on every rafter to account for the added weight of solar panels. Proud of our crew for figuring out the engineering modifications to properly brace these apartment buildings existing roof. Also getting this from a basically unworkable environment to a structured and walkable place. Next is the electrical work for the solar panels. From small handyman needs to major projects we can do it all, give us a call!!!!
