I was at my brand new job fresh out of college on the 7th floor of an office building in Austin, TX. We watched the TV all day from the conference room and looked out the windows searching the skies for planes. Brian was still in college and called me that morning to ask if I was listening to the radio because a plane had just hit one of the Twin Towers.

Check out this super cool wood floor we just finished in the office area of a Mason County hunting ranch. The flooring is Kentwood Avenue J Acacia. Wes Thomas hand cut all 900 sqft of the herringbone pieces, sanded and stained a bevel on the cut ends and then he and his son Wesley Thomas, Jr. exhibited excellent craftsmanship on the glue down installation. Good job guys!!

Sometimes all you need is just a little refresh. Updating doesn’t have to be a complete overhaul. It can be - and we can do it - but this small update is always an option.

Don't count out installing carpet in your home. Carpet provides an element of warmth, comfort, insulation and helps reduce noise by providing a sound-absorbing surface. Carpet is a very cost effective way to add a touch of cozy (or an update to a room).
