Working on some log ends. Rot seemed to be cause by a satellite cable that was carrying water back to the logs and one log end that stuck out too far and brought water into corner. It so often is the little things that can cause the most damage.

Some before and after pics. We did a number of log replacements followed by sanding and staining to get to where we are here. There is still some work to do but after many years of no work we are helping bring this place up to speed over the course of a couple years.
