What a fantastic week it has been! I've had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful people in our community and diving into some exciting projects. From hanging mirrors and constructing my very first catominium to adding gutters on a tiny house and creating custom memorial flag cases from exotic South African hardwoods, each task has been a unique adventure. Looking ahead, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be repairing six stunning dining room chairs that are around 120 years old. I’ll also be designing a beautiful walnut shadow box to highlight a collection of antique firearms—I'm such a fan of Walnut! You might know that I often talk about pumphouses and property maintenance, but I also have a small woodworking shop where I take on custom orders and restore vintage furniture. I’d like to take a moment to recognize Robert and his son Ryan at WC Woodworks, Hardwoods, & Sawmill along Hwy 40. Their willingness to answer my questions and help me select the perfect woods has made all the difference! And let’s not forget to give a big thumbs up to Ryan, a veteran—thank you for your service! Wishing everyone a wonderful Saturday! I'm off to hang more gutters and paint a pumphouse. Remember, it’s hurricane season, so be sure to give your well a cozy little house to keep it safe! Hello Friends and Neighbors!
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has ordered well houses from me. I'm excited to share that I'm all caught up and actively rebuilding my stock. We proudly offer both charming gable and sleek shed roof styles. I'm also thrilled to announce that our mini barn house is in the final stages of development and almost ready for sale!

We're branching out into chicken coops and more. For those who don't know me yet, I'm John with Dunnellon Property Services. Hey everybody, one of the perks of what I do is that I get to meet some of the nicest people. I just finished a project for a woman whose previous worker started but never finished. They installed four corner posts and never came back. She had purchased a new shed kit and wanted it installed around the well. We decided to go with a shed-style flat roof and reuse the metal from the old shed along with the new kit. With the 2x4 framing, the shed is much stronger than it would have been with the supplied frame in the kit. As you can see in the pictures, it turned out nice and sturdy. Something to think about—the first named storm of the 2025 Atlantic season just formed, "Erin." Besides property maintenance, we build sheds, pump houses, and more! Hurricane Season is here, and it's time to protect your home! For most of us, it's our most significant investment. Part of that investment includes your water well. Is it exposed, just out in the open, like the one pictured? One lightning strike, a falling tree, or debris blowing in a storm can easily damage your well. I build well houses to withstand major storms and to make servicing them easy. Our tops lift open for access if the pump needs to be pulled. There's a large front door for easy access, and the entire front panel can be removed if required. They are built just like a house. The process is easy: I come to your home, take a few measurements, pick out the size needed, and any customization you request, then I deliver and install it.
