Started with a new client this week and I have to say, this is the sweetest cat I have ever been around.... even above my main man George! Moonpie aka Smoosh is so loving and sweet. I also got to take care of some pretty cool plants and a small vegetable garden as well. Thank you LM for trusting me with your babies!

Vacation Tips for Leaving Your Cat at Home 🐾
Planning a trip? Most cats are happiest staying in their familiar home environment while you’re away.

Before You Leave:
Keep your cat’s routine as normal as possible the week before your trip.
Leave detailed feeding instructions and emergency contacts for your sitter.
Make sure food, litter, medications, and supplies are fully stocked.
Test automatic feeders or fountains ahead of time if you use them.

Comfort & Stress Reduction
Leave out favorite blankets, beds, or toys with familiar scents.
Keep curtains/blinds in their usual positions.
Consider calming music or a TV left on low volume.
Avoid moving litter boxes or furniture right before travel.

Safety Check
Secure plants, cords, and anything your cat could knock over.
Double-check windows and doors.
Ensure your cat’s ID tags and microchip info are current.

While You’re Away
Daily visits are important for:

What do Michelangelo's "Hand of God" painting and cat care have in common?? Turns out plenty! When approaching a new cat, instead of immediately going in to rub their head or their back, extend a finger, and let them sniff you and decide how they want to be petted. They will move your finger around to what feels comfortable for them...I tried it on my cats I've had for years and it works like a charm!
