Easy, cheap DIY project: spray painting terracotta pots!

Last year I scored 3 boxes full of free terracotta pots. They’ve mostly been sitting in my garage, but then I got the idea to paint them fun colors to make them more visually appealing. I also coated the insides with a sealant to help prevent the terracotta from soaking up water, which will mean I can water less often🌱
I love the imperfections in these pots; it gives them texture and makes them more unique.

Normally, calatheas hate me (I really need to remember to buy distiller water!). I left this presumably dead pinstripe calathea on the counter for a few months and yesterday, my husband was all, “holy crap! Look, it grew a new leaf!”
The calathea has been resurrected!
