When I decided to do the florals for my wedding it sounded a little crazy but I’m a professional gardener and I put together arrangements all the time so it shouldn’t be that different right? Ha! It was extremely stressful but I loved doing it. I grew some flowers from seed, some from seedlings, planted Dahlia tubers, ordered some flowers online, harvested grasses and branches of shrubs, and pilfered the gardens of some generous friends. Our venue was very accommodating and let me make a mess the day before and morning of. I found an amazing florist to do the chuppah to match my vision and after months of obsessing it came together and I’m so glad I did it.
