Sometimes doing something in good faith can burn you as a business. We are not called to be the same as this world. Sometimes that can be painful. I had to make a hard decision to pull of this bathroom remodel without finishing due to the clients insurance. The tenants were living with black mold in their home for a year and I did my best to progress the project despite it not having been a smart business decision

Lucas Hendrickson and I graduated with some certifications through a masterclass held by Unique Mosaics. Thank you Mike Maness for the amazing shirts for this workshop! We’re investing in ourselves so we can offer even more to our clients with mosaic art! We also are working on forming a partnership company called Northwest Artisan Tile Company. Where our goals and aspirations are shared in a collaborative effort to inspire more up and coming individuals and installers to perform at their best. Through education and leadership, we carry our level of quality seriously. This means intentionally sharing the craft with others. We wish to inspire others and hope to bring people along the ride through an apprenticeship that successfully propels others to dream big and develop the industry by following standards and maybe helping to pave new ones with the trade.

Thankful to have been invited by Markus BlankeCorp and Emser Tile to the PNW tradeshow. It was amazing to meet a couple of those who are influencing the industry in such a big way, such as Blanke Corporation with their permat product , and H.b. Fuller with their amazing construction branch of tile adhesives and grouts. TEC has an amazing thinset we will be using and running through the ringer. Emser has a beautiful array of options for the trade for design/aesthetic purposes for every environment, where we’ll be picking from their line up for many of our future projects. We’re also implementing an improved method to our home protection by using a product from Trimaco

Bathroom is wrapping up very nicely! So happy with how this has turned out. Some grouting, painting and glass. It’ll be wrapped up soon!
